🚍 On May 28, Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) and the #POLIS Access Working Group joined forces with the IRU to host a workshop on the role of coaches in #transport and tourism at the #SustainableTourism Mobility Forum in #Breda 📌
Though often overlooked, coaches are a key ingredient to tomorrow’s #SustainableMobility, offering 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦 solutions to mobility challenges including air quality, accessibility, affordability, and inclusivity 🌱
This workshop brought together representatives from #cities and #regions including Pisa, Ghent, Amsterdam and Galicia, as well as researchers from BUas and representatives from the transport and tourism sectors 🤝
🔎 Attendees had to chance to hear from #Pisamo, the in-house mobility company of the Comune Di Pisa, about the smart parking solutions they used to turn high levels of coach visits into a force for sustainable tourism.
