Aidan McAnespie was a young Irish Gaelic football player who was shot in the back by a British Army soldier after crossing the Aughnacloy border checkpoint, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, during the Troubles. Aidan McAnespie era un giovane calciatore irlandese di football gaelico che fu colpito alla schiena da un soldato dell'esercito britannico dopo aver attraversato il posto di controllo di confine di Aughnacloy, nella contea di Tyrone, nell'Irlanda del Nord, durante i Troubles.
